Paul Pogba could play a different role in the Manchester United midfielder this season after impressing in pre-season, according to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Frenchman was in excellent form during United's tour of Australia and Asia during the summer, playing on the right side of a two-man midfielder.

More recently, he accompanied Scott McTominay in the middle of the park in United's 2-1 win against Tottenham in Shanghai, with both players looking very good.

With four wins in four pre-season games, Solskjaer is thrilled with his options in midfield and thinks Pogba can play two, but he has the versatility to play in a three-player midfielder as he plays the game. did for much of last season.
