Real Madrid are ready to offer Manchester United three players as bait while he was trying to get Paul Pogba signed during the summer transfer period, according to reported information.
Zinedine Zidane, who returned to the Bernabeu earlier in the year, identified Pogba as one of his priorities and lobbied Real for his signature.
Pogba has not hidden his affection for Zidane and Real Madrid and would be open to the Spanish capital after a hectic season at Old Trafford.
The winner of the French World Cup made 47 appearances for United in all competitions last season, but he ran several times with Jose Mourinho before his dismissal.

Pogba also clashed with Manchester United fans at the end of the campaign and Real Madrid believes a summer deal for Pogba is "really possible," according to the Sunday Times.
Florentino Perez would like to avoid a direct cash payment to Pogba, preferring to offset part of his price by using at least one Real Madrid star as bait in the transaction.
Ideally for Real Madrid, the player who would join Manchester United as part of the Pogba player change would be Gareth Bale, who is no longer part of Zindane's plans.
The Welsh striker Bale has become a target for US leader Ed Woodward, and Zidane is more than willing to see him go in the next few months.
But Real Madrid would also consider offering James Rodriguez and Keylor Navas to the boss of the Red Devils, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Colombian international Rodriguez was loaned to Bayern Munich for the 2018-19 season, while Navas played for Thibaut Courtois for most of the campaign.
If Perez manages to attract Pogba to Real Madrid, the Frenchman will probably join Eden Hazard at Bernabeu.
Hazard apparently played his last match in England. Real has signed a £ 88.5 million deal with Premier League club Chelsea.
