Neymar accused of sexual assault in Paris

Brazilian football star Neymar has been accused of badually badaulting a woman in Paris.

According to a police report filed in São Paulo, the woman alleges that the attack would have occurred at a hotel in the city where Neymar is playing for Paris St-Germain (PSG).

The footballer or his representatives have not responded to the allegations.

Neymar is now in Brazil to train with the national team for Copa America.

According to police documents, the woman – who was not named – knew Neymar on Instagram and suggested meeting in Paris.

He provides him with a Brazil-France plane ticket and a reservation at the Sofitel Paris Arc Du Triomphe hotel.

When Neymar arrived at the hotel on May 15, he was "apparently intoxicated," the woman said.

After conversation and hugging, "Neymar became aggressive at one point and, through violence, had badual intercourse against the will of the victim," says the police document.

The woman returned to Brazil two days later, without reporting the incident alleged to the French police, because she was "emotionally upset and feared to register the facts in another country," the document continues. .

The footballer's father, Neymar dos Santos, told Band TV in Brazil on Saturday: "It is clear that it was a trap".
