Neymar scored 20 goals for Paris St-Germain this season
Paris St-Germain reacted angrily to a survey according to which 84% of the French population thought that their attacker Neymar "provoked defenders".
The most expensive signature in the world "also plays a dangerous game", according to French radio RTL survey.
Anthony Goncalves, of Strasbourg, told Neymar that he should not "moan" after being hurt last month.
PSG responded to the survey by posting a video of Neymar's films and tips on their website.
The video was posted with the title "do not change anything".
Neymar will miss both legs of the Champions League match against Manchester United after being sidelined for 10 weeks with a broken metatarsal.
The Brazilian striker, who has cost 222 million euros to PSG since Barcelona in 2017, was injured in the 2-0 victory of the Coupe de France in Strasbourg on 23 January.
Moataz Zemzemi committed three fouls in three seconds at Neymar.
He reacted by making a "rainbow shot" over Zemzemi's head, but had to be hurt.
"It's Neymar's style, but do not complain after a kick," said Strasbourg midfielder Goncalves.
PSG issued a statement Saturday calling into question the credibility of the poll.
"We say that we must stop these pseudo-polls that will have any other effect than to move away from our championship the greatest geniuses of this football which is our common pbadion," adds the press release.
