The registration exercise of the Ghana map by the National Identification Authority (NIA) is progressing after the first day's technical problems.

Ghana News Agency (GNA) checks at some registration centers in the Municipality of Ho indicate that most claimants were able to follow the five steps of registration and issue cards at the end of the first and second day.

Mr. Maxwell Kumi, Head of Registration (SRO), SSNIT registration center in Ho, told the GNA that a total of 60 cards had been registered on the first day and three canceled cards recorded due to inaccurate data provided by the applicants.

He said that only eight cards were issued to the candidates on the 44 cards printed the first day, the others failed to come forward to recover them.

He added that his training was aimed at registering about 60 candidates per day.

At the Stadium Gate registration center, the ORS refused to speak to the GNA, but the queued candidates followed the exercise with a lot of activity, some collecting their Ghana card after successfully completing the steps. .
