Accra, July 9, GNA – The Mbad Registration
Exercise of the National Authority for Identification (NIA) in Greater Accra
The region ended on Saturday, December 6, 2019, with a total of 1,972,692 qualified individuals.
Ghanaians enrolled in the Ghana Card.
A total of 581,767 cards were not printed
instantly largely because of Internet connectivity issues and, therefore, could
not to be issued to candidates.
However, the cards have since been printed
and are ready for distribution to candidates at specified locations at a time
Accra West and Accra East Zones, respectively.

The Agency, said the NIA was committed to register all qualified Ghanaians and
would continue to register candidates in the NIA district and regional offices

The map started in the western area of Accra on Monday, April 29 and ended in Accra
Eastern Zone on Saturday, July 6th of this year.
