A businessman said he shed tears after taking his grandmother on her first flight.
Jeremy DamarisMc captured the entire trip on his YouTube channel, from boarding a flight at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to vacationing in Mombasa.
According to Jeremey, he did not tell her where they were heading.
“She has no idea where I’m taking her,” he said as they arrived at JKIA.

Emotional
Her grandmother was very excited to hear that they would be boarding a flight and admitted that she never imagined she would one day do so. Jeremy said his admission made him emotional.

“I cried when my cucu told me that she had never imagined that she would one day approach a plane. She always sees them in the sky, ”he wrote on Facebook.
The video he shared showed them waking up on JKIA’s runway before boarding a Kenya Airways plane.
Inside the plane, Jeremy sat next to his grandmother, briefing her on the different parts of a plane.
Her grandmother was seen talking animatedly during the flight as she took in the spectacular sky views.
They were accompanied on the trip by Jeremy’s mother and brother.
Beach
After landing in Mombasa, they made their way to their hotel before heading later to the beach.
Jeremy said his grandmother saw the beach for the first time and was spotted wearing shorts.
They went for a walk on the beach, but she refused to go on a camel ride for fear of falling.

The family then took a boat ride and the grandmother seemed in a good mood.
Jeremy urged Kenyans to appreciate their loved ones, writing:
“If you have your grandmother or your mother, give them this opportunity. Value them. My grandmother is very happy to have been able to come and see this wonderful place.
