However, Mac Lovestone is jealous of Dean's father's return to his life and wants to end the relationship before it even begins. How did Desna and Dean meet with their father? Roller and Desna officially became a couple
The old flame dreamed of reviving his love since the beginning of the season, when they killed a man together. She told Roller that she wanted to focus on herself, but Roller wanted to make things official. He even went so far as to ask Polly for help to dress and eat as a gentleman. However, casino owners, Mac and Melba Lovestone, have removed it before he can show Desna his new skills.
As Desna began the terrifying journey to save her love of the strange Lovestones, she realized that she had fallen in love with Roller. While Desna continued to heal Roller, he began talking about redecorating the premises, baduming he had moved in. However, Desna hesitates because other men have injured her and let her down several times. Desna ended up giving Roller a chance and allowing him to settle down, as long as he pays half the bills because she no longer has the casino contract.
Desna and Dean renew with their father
Upon discovering her relationship with Roller, Desna realized that it was difficult for her to trust men, her father having abandoned her at a very young age. Desna confessed to the ladies of the salon that she had kept an eye on her father, Calvin, who is a prominent architect. Everyone convinced her to see him, so she visited him at work and was surprised by his visibility.
However, he was calm again and asked to speak again. When Desna challenged him, he firmly asked her to leave. She left crying and felt stupid to want to know anything about him. The next day, Calvin goes to Desna's living room and apologizes for his reaction.
Desna told him how difficult his life was, and Dean's, and grew up in a foster family because he chose drugs for her. Having had no children after Desna and Dean, Calvin said he wanted to know the siblings and visited Dean at the casino. Calvin sat next to Dean and played a game with Mahjong with him, but Dean became very frustrated when he lost the match because he was talking to Calvin.
Dean told Calvin to leave so he could focus on his game, but Calvin came back with Desna. She explained Calvin's identity to him, but Dean was still interested only in the game. Mac Lovestone, who coached Dean in Mahjong, saw Calvin with Dean and asked his safety to find out who was Calvin.
The Lovestones are trying to eliminate Calvin
Calvin invited Dean to a private visit from the Smithsonian Institution. He then explained that he had links because his company had done the restoration. The casino security officer heard this information and pbaded it on to his boss. Mac showed up at Calvin's job and gave him a silver envelope to stay away from Dean. He wanted Calvin removed from the scene so he could continue playing the role of father with Dean. However, Calvin really wants to be part of his son's life and has therefore refused this offer. Then he stopped in a cafe for a cup of coffee, where Melba drank his drink.
Calvin invited Desna, Dean, Virginia and Roller to the ceremony of his company. He came forward, under the influence and acted erratically, and eventually vomited on stage. Dean and Desna got angry at Calvin because they had supposed that he had relapsed. But Calvin went to Desna's living room and explained the links between Lovestones and his behavior. As a result, Desna tried to get Dean away from Mac. However, he refused and chose Mac rather than his family. The episode ended when Desna retrieved her weapon to get her brother out of the casino.
