The All Progressive Congress (APC) on Thursday issued a cash alert for outstanding votes ahead of Saturday's elections in Nigeria.
The party claimed that the People's Democratic Party (PDP) had ordered the distribution of money across the country.
In a statement by the National Secretary for Advertising of the APC, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, the party however appealed to all Nigerians and APC members for that they are not involved in electoral fraud or irregularities.
Issa-Onilu said: "We warn Nigerians and all parties involved in the electoral process not to be swayed by huge sums. The Democratic People's Party (PDP) is moving to buy votes and compromise the system.
"Our future should not be mortgaged by PDP leaders who use our Commonwealth that they have stolen for 16 years in an attempt to return to power.
"We should stay safe and work collectively to ensure that general elections are free, fair, transparent and credible.
"Security agencies have been instructed to put the full weight of our laws on those who commit acts of violence or electoral infractions, regardless of their rank.
"We encourage our members to come and vote and protect the ballots. Our big party has enough support all over the country to win with a landslide.
"We must now work for the election to be decided by a man, a voice, which guarantees our victory."
