In a sad report, a Nigerian doctor in the United States allegedly committed suicide.
The man whose name has been given as Dr Ben Okigbo committed suicide after apparently killing his lovely wife.
The incident occurred in Texas and from what we understand the man’s wife is also a registered nurse.
Police in Sugar Land Texas Police said the doctor also attempted to kill his 21-year-old son after killing his wife.
Confirming the incident, police said;
“Friday morning a girl who does not live at home went there after being worried. She was not injured.
Someone in the house called 9-1-1 Friday morning around 10 a.m. from his home in the 1500 block of Brookstone Lane. When officers arrived, they found the couple’s bodies inside. They were both in their fifties.
A neighbor said they were from Nigeria but had lived in the Greatwood house for around 20 years. She said she spoke to his wife a few days ago and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
