Jonathan Adebanjo, a 23-year-old Nigerian student living in the UK, reportedly drowned in the Thames.

Adebanjo, an art student, was studying at the Camberwell College of Arts in London.

He reportedly went missing Tuesday while swimming with friends at Shadwell Basin.

Adebanjo is one of three missing after being drowned in the same way.

Rescuers removed his body from the Thames Wednesday 16 hours after his disappearance.

Earlier, a 47-year-old swimmer died after drowning in Kingston. Another 26-year-old man also disappeared into the water at Waterloo Bridge.

The bodies of both as well as Adebanjo have been recovered from the Thames.

Adebanjo's father stated that his son "was to enter his final year at the Camberwell College of Arts, which is part of the University of the Arts London."

He adds that "no one expected him to be in this water. It was unusual for him to go swimming there.
