Nkoso Initiative Nkoso Initiative Visit to Baptist School Complex and Orphanage

Valentine is a day of love and it is not surprising that Nkoso Initiative, a non-profit organization, decided to make the orphans of Trotor smile. Trotor is a village in the enclave of Suhum-Koforidua.

The Baptist School Complex and Orphanage (BASCO), commonly known as the Trotor Orphanage, is located in Trotor, Akoti Trio Junction, in the Suhum Kraboa Coaltar District.

The Nkoso initiative is currently developing an 8 acre parcel of land in the community on a farm of peppers and ginger to generate income for the orphanage. This agri-food initiative is the initiative of Reverend Joseph Dennis Quarcoo. It follows his training in rural revitalization at the Weitz Center for Sustainable Development in Rechovot, Israel.

Addressing Scribe News, Reverend Quarcoo said, "Our visit is to share their love with them, it will be a celebration, we will give them details about the project and encourage those who are mature to participate."

The Orphans Ministry of Harvest City Church will be present.
