The historic collaboration agreement signed between the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and the Ghana Veterans Administration (VAG) has begun to produce positive results with regard to social development. – economic and financial empowerment of veterans.

The NLA-VAG partnership gives ALN the exclusive power to manage, regulate and oversee the VAG lottery and all veterans' lottery activity.

A statement signed by the NLA's public relations unit and transmitted to the media in Accra on Friday indicates that under the agreement, the NLA badisted the administration of the Ghana veterans to renovate and refit its headquarters in Accra and acquire eight new minibuses for effective management of the VAG secretariat.

The NLA is also supporting VAG in the construction of an ultra-modern sports complex in Tamale for veterans and soldiers.

The VAG Lotto should be officially launched this month and start operating immediately in August 2019 to make a significant contribution to the overall well-being of veterans, create jobs and generate income for socio-economic development. from Ghana.

The successful launch of the VAG lotto would allow the government, through ALN, to support the VAG group in the areas of providing quality health care and decent accommodation to veterans and soldiers of the VAG. Ghana.
