MUNICH – Niko Kovac, Bayern Munich coach, said that Robert Lewandowski and Kingsley Coman would not be punished after teammates' training.

The players mutilated on Thursday, but Kovac tried to minimize the clash on Friday before the team moved to Fortuna Düsseldorf in the Bundesliga on Sunday.

Kovac said the players were "excused for their behavior" after "there was a question of punching" between them.

The Bayern coach said he had talks with both men. "There is no fine because the boys were reasonable".

Lewandowski is the top scorer in the Bundesliga with 21 goals in 27 appearances this season, while Coman has 3 goals in 15 league games.

Bayern lead Borussia Dortmund with a point over six games.
