A petition calling on the UK government to revoke Article 50 and reconsider its intention to leave the EU must be debated in Parliament on 1 April. The call to curb the UK's exit from the EU had gathered more than 5 million signatures on Thursday, while Brexit talks remained in stalemate.
With the fear of a "Brexit without agreement" and a growing government return against the wall, anti-Brexit protesters went online to express their frustration at the chaotic process.
As of Thursday, 5.9 million people had signed the petition at 3 pm (GMT), making it the most popular.
The petition calling for a popular vote continued to grow as Premier Theresa May called on MPs to approve her withdrawal agreement again.
The debate on Friday, however, should not be a political declaration on the future functioning of relations between the European Union and the United Kingdom, which would have led the Labor Party to criticize the fact that this would lead to call the "most blind blind Brexits."
