PARIS (Reuters) – French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said that it was not necessary to rush about the negotiations on the merger between carmakers Renault and Fiat Chrysler, while recalling that he nevertheless wished that the agreement be concluded.
"We should take our time to make sure everything is done right," said The Mayor. BFM TV on Wednesday on merger negotiations.
"We want to achieve this merger," he added, adding that the French government wanted guarantees on the jobs of the new entity, its future headquarters and the corporate government.
