Northern Trust 2021 rankings: live coverage, golf scores, FedEx Cup playoff updates Monday in round 4

After several delays spanning two days, it finally looks like the Northern Trust’s last round at Liberty National Golf Club will be played on Monday afternoon. Jon Rahm and Cameron Smith co-lead at 16 under after Rahm dominated the first 36 holes only to see Smith shoot a 60 in the third round to tie things up. These two are the favorites to win when the leaders take the start on Monday afternoon, but there are plenty of golfers beyond them – Justin Thomas (-14), Tony Finau (-14), Viktor Hovland (-13) – with firepower to take them down during the soggy final at Liberty National.

There’s a lot at stake here, with the future champion almost certainly starting in the top five of the Tour Championship in two weeks, not to mention winning a trophy for this week amid one of the best pitches of the past decade. Rahm has looked dominant throughout, and anyone who wins will surely have to take it from him during the home stretch on Monday afternoon. He’s not going anywhere, but with an even softer Liberty National scoring in the low 60s on Saturday, we should be on a convincing finish in the first FedEx Cup Playoffs event of the year.
