Daniel Farke trusts Norwich City fans. Do not let him down.

The Canarian leader has warned against complacency in the race to promote a double header at home against QPR on Saturday morning and in Reading next week.

City is five points behind the fighter squad, with seven league games to play, but the road to the Premier League is paved with pitfalls for Norwich's head coach.

"There will certainly be difficult times in the next seven games, and we still need that support," he said. "I trust our supporters because you can feel this atmosphere. That's part of the reason we are successful.

"The players feel that and feel pride in being able to wear this yellow jersey, to fight and fight for this incredible club and its incredible fans.

"I hope that they will not have that attitude in these upcoming matches: they just want to be entertained, they want to see great football periods, a lot of goals and an easy win." We are not Manchester City and are looking to win 7-0 or 8-0.

"At this point, let's not be too confident. Let's continue in the same spirit. We need this confidence in difficult times.

Watch the support for the Wigan game. It's great to see and also shows how much Delia, Michael and the club as a whole value this support. This unity and this spirit are so important.

"In the eyes of many, we exceed the goals, we are the big surprise, but we have a great chance in front of us and we need support."

Farke's complacent warning is aimed at his team in good shape, in front of a QPR without manager facing the exit of Steve McClaren.

"We talked a lot about this subject," he said. "In football, it never works like painting an image.

"If I could paint, it would always be sunny, beautiful and beautiful.

"We've had two unbelievably tough games outside, on either side of the international break, where you're a bit worried about how difficult it is to beat a Tony Pulis team.

"QPR is unpredictable because they changed Steve McClaren. We must be fully focused on our processes with the same workload, commitment and desire. If you are only two percent less, you have no chance of winning points in this league.

"This has been the subject of this week. My feeling is that we are not too carried away. "
