BERLIN (Reuters) – The shares of Alcon, the eye care division created by Novartis, are expected to be traded on the Swiss market and the New York Stock Exchange on April 9, Novartis reported on Friday.
"Alcon has obtained approval for listing on the SIX Swiss Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange," Novartis said in a statement.
Novartis added that Alcon obtained $ 3.5 billion in debt financing, adding that Bank of America Merrill Lynch and UBS AG advised Novartis on the transaction.
