Mathias Kwame Banyaolenso, chairman of the NPP in the district of Krachi West, explained why he led a peaceful demonstration to ensure that the director of the Krachi district was removed from office.

Angry youths from Kete-Krachi on Tuesday afternoon stormed the district badembly office and locked the scene.

The youths, who affirm their affinity with the ruling NPP, demand the immediate dismissal of the Krachi West District Director.

The young protester claimed that Osei Nti Douglas was an "incompetent" leader and his actions since taking office; was contrary to the interest of the nuclear power station.

Speak on NEAT FM Mathias Kwame, of Ghana's morning show, said that they had long been asking senior officials of his party and insisted that "we did not want him anymore".
