Some angry young people of the ruling New Patriotic Party in Chereponi, North East region, destroyed some structures after the announcement of the appointment of Zuwera Mada Nashiru as chief executive of the district.

The aggrieved youth wanted their preferred candidate, SK Orlando, to be nominated, although he was not recommended for the nomination.
