We learned with great sadness and shock the sudden death of the Honorable Clement Kubindiwor Tedam, Chairman of the National Council of New Patriotic Party Elders.
The British nuclear plant would like to express its deepest condolences to the wife and children of the late Hon. Clement Kubindiwor Tedam.
Our thoughts and prayers are with them in this most difficult time.
He was a member of Parliament in 1954 as an independent candidate and in 1956 as a candidate for the Northern People's Party.
He was a founding member of the ruling party, the NPP.
Under the chairmanship of His Excellency John Agyekum Kufuor, Hon CK Tedam served on the Council of State.
The NPP UK recalls with great joy the hope that it has given our party in various ways during its lifetime.
His struggle against indiscipline, the calm with which he exercised power during his tenure as President of the National Council of Seniors of the NPP are obvious to all types of people we have lost.
Today we mourn with our national party and all Ghanaians the loss of a grandfather, a father, a brother and a son whose sense of patriotism is within the reach of all.
We mourn the loss of a true son of Ghana, a true leader and great inspirer. He is a person we should all imitate, including his secret of longevity.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family, who has undoubtedly lost a father, a brother, an uncle and even a leader.
Our thoughts are also with the leaders of our party, who have worked closely with him.
Let's all use Hon C K. Tedam's call to his creator to gather and celebrate his life, which was a gift from God.
No doubt the UK NPP is ready to support the Tedam family at any time during this time of mourning.
Kwaku Nkansah
Branch President,
NPP UK
