NPP youth urged to rise up against unfounded opposition propaganda

Kodie (Ash), July 23, GNA – Mr. William
Owuraku Aidoo, deputy minister of Energy, accused young people of the new patriotic party
Party (NPP) rises to counter the propaganda peddled by the opposition
NDC to discredit the government.

He said that the government had worked hard for
put in place effective and pragmatic initiatives to build the economy that was
left in ruins by the NDC and put the country back on the development pedal.

However, the NDC fears that successful implementation
of these initiatives could compromise his political ambition, had mounted and
expose his propaganda machine to thwart the efforts of the
government.

Speaking during the inauguration of the poll
young people from the South Afigya-Kwabre constituency of the NPP in Kodie, M.
Aidoo, who is also the MP for the region, told the youth
should not sit down and allow him to continue.

"After cleaning up the damage left by the NDC
government in 2016 and striving to put in place policies and
programs to get the country back on track, the NDC is committed to
unfounded propaganda, to distract the government, "he lamented.

Mr. Aidoo said that NPP youth have a duty to
tell Ghanaians the true state of the economy as well as the many social factors
intervention programs implemented by the government to improve the
living conditions of the population.

He said the NDC government engaged in
several dubious agreements, particularly in the energy sector, which brought enormous
debts on Ghanaians.

Mr. Aidoo said the government was
renegotiate some of these agreements to ensure that Ghanaians have value for
money.

He said the country now had a government
who listened to the fate of people and would continue to work hard to promote
development and improve the living conditions of the population.

Deputy Minister urged youth to work
to defend the party and support the government to fulfill all its promises of
Ghanaians

Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, Constituency President
urged young people not to be manipulated or influenced
to change the members sitting in their constituencies.

He said that the party needed experience and
expertise of the members in place to badist the government in fulfilling its mandate.
