Beneficiaries of the Nation Builder's Corp (NaBCo) program during a parade
The National Road Safety Commission (NRSC) praised the government's National Government Builders Corp (NaBCo) program and called for more staff to help with road safety and traffic training to reduce accidents and deaths on the roads.
According to Mr. Kwasi Agyenim Boateng, NRSC Regional Manager for Bono, Bono East and Ahafo, the NaBCo program remained relevant to the Commission as its staff had improved staffing and increased safety and traffic training.
Speaking in an interview on Thursday at the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Sunyani, Mr Boateng said that until safety and traffic education Roads remains a year – long program, few things would be accomplished. But he added that with the commitment of NaBCo staff, the commission was able to deploy staff for transport terminals and some highways to engage in continuous training, which yielded positive results.
