The girls showed a steady performance of precision to expel the two favorites; Prempeh College and Achimota School, two-time champions and regional champions of Greater Accra.

The Wesley Girls were two points behind Achimota School after the penultimate round, but their speed in the riddles, which is the last inning, has earned them the day.

They answered three of the four questions correctly, while all schools answered a question incorrectly.

Prempeh College is perhaps four times champion, but he was not at all at the party and finished in last place.

The final scores were: Wesley Girls', 57pts – Achimota School, 49pts and Prempeh College, 27pts

Wesley Girls SHS, the only school still available in the competition, is ready to progress in the national quiz on science and math.

However, they have to face the four-time champion of Prempeh College and the two-time winner Achimota School.

The stakes are high in this contest because no girl school has ever won the contest in 26 years of existence.

The contest is in progress!
