The Ghana National Union of Students wishes to condemn the alleged shooting and tear gas on students of the University of Winneba Education (UEW) in an effort to restore mental health by pushing back the demonstrators.
The union is convinced that by maintaining order, the police must take professional measures that will not hurt or hurt students, but that will encourage students to trust security of this country.
The union condemns any form of lawlessness perpetrated by faceless people on the campus of the University of Winneba and calls for calm.
NUGS believes that the rules and regulations that govern the university must be well protected in order to prevent anarchy and chaos on the development of academics in the country, and condemn anyone who would like to put the law in their hands.
The union also calls the Ministry of Education in charge of higher education, the authorities of the University of Education, Winneba, the council of student representatives and the local secretariats of the NUGS to work tirelessly to end the unnecessary hubbub that affects academics on the development of education by students on campus.
