Anas dedicates his last prize to Hussein-Suale

Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas awarded an award to his murdered colleague Ahmed Hussein for his explosive documentary #Number 12 Suale who was shot dead last week in Accra.

shortly after receiving the Investigative Reporting Award at the first edition of AIPS sport Media Awards held on January 21 in Lausanne, Switzerland, Anas credited Hussein-Suale for the critical role that he played in the success of the award-winning documentary #Number12.

"I receive this award in the honor of my colleague Ahmed. I know that he would have been here with me to receive this award if he had not had this unfortunate incident. But we will never abandonment, because journalism is not a crime, "said Anas after receiving his trophy.

Last year, in May, HusseinSuale helped to expose corruption in African football as a prominent member of Anas' Tiger Eye private investigation team.
