With the historic commissioning of a week of newly constructed overflights as well as the launch of some new projects by the Nyesom Wike administration which began from Monday March 1 to Saturday March 6, 2021 through Port Harcourt, the capital of the Rivers State and Obio / Akpor Local Government Area of the State, Sole Administrator, Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Bro. Felix Obuah praised Governor Wike for using available resources for overall development and state benefit.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Okoro-Nu-Odo overflight commissioning on Monday, Bro. Obuah said the governor has once again demonstrated that good governance is possible where there is the will to do so.
The sole administrator of RIWAMA said there could be no better way to satisfy the aspirations of the people and silence political critics than the historic achievement of the governor in the state.
Noting that getting these new overflights up and running and launching new projects all at once is no small feat, Bro. Obuah said this could only be possible through the careful management of state resources by Governor Wike.
He called on the leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to come to Port Harcourt and attend the landmark commissioning ceremony, and appreciate good governance and democratic dividends.
“I have no doubt in my mind that if the leaders of the APC took the opportunity to physically attend the commissioning and launching ceremonies, they would be appalled that God was using Governor Wike to the people of Rivers State. .
The RIWAMA boss explained that Governor Wike debunked the mistaken notion that governors were not doing well in their second term, adding that Wike had almost surpassed his accomplishments in his first term.
The other activities of the week-long event are the commissioning of the Government House Clinic / Press; Ikwerre Road / Olu-Obasanjo Flyover Flag (Ikoku) and Aba Road / Rumukalagbor Flyover Flag (Waterlines).
