The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications Branch in Tarkwa-Nsuaem of the Western Region has debunked a news publication from citinewsroom.com according to which the MP for the region, the Hon . George Mireku Duker was arrested by police in Ghana for breaking the highway code.
Citi TV has launched a campaign against indiscipline on our roads, especially in Accra, the capital of the country, nicknamed "the war against indiscipline".
On Monday, July 8, 2019, Citi News reported that the MP for Tarkwa-Nsuaem had been strongly sued by the police and arrested for violating the Highway Code.

2. Immediately after the interview, the MP met with stakeholders about discussions with a view to speeding up work on the Ahwetieso road, which had even been indicated during the interview.
