Companies can exploit the new Jurong Port Tank Storage Terminals (JPTT) to reduce costs and increase efficiency. This facility is a joint venture between Jurong Port and the German Oiltanking Tank Operator. The State Minister for Trade and Industry, Chee Hong Tat, said the JPTT was an integral part of the transformation of Jurong port in order to offer a port-centric solution for Jurong Island. The first phase of development of the terminal occupies about 12 hectares and can store about 252,000 cubic meters of clean oil.
