Keane Lewis-Potter today promised her long-term future in Hull City by signing a new three-and-a-half year contract.

The young man – who is also celebrating his 18th birthday today – signed the agreement at the KCOM stadium this afternoon after agreeing new terms with the club.

This is the last step in what has been a remarkable 12 months for Lewis-Potter, during which he signed his first professional contract at age 17 before being presented in his first senior match in the third round. Emirates FA Cup Tigers at Millwall earlier this year.

Speaking on the club's official website after writing a text on his new contract, the young Hull-born said: "It's amazing to sign a new contract with Hull City.

"To have the club as much confidence in me by offering me a three-and-a-half year contract is a great feeling.

"I was lucky enough to receive my scholarship contract very early, then my first professional contract as well.

"Receiving another contract is a little surreal, but I'm delighted to have signed because that's where I want to be.

"It means so much to sign another deal with the club in my hometown. I grew up wanting to play for Hull City and achieving this goal at 17 years earlier this season against Millwall was incredible.

"It was an experience that left me wanting more, but I know it's just a start and I said exactly the same thing after signing my first professional contract last year.

"It's only the beginning and getting this new contract gives me even more motivation to start, develop and work even harder to progress in all areas of my game."
