Christmas is for giving and doing merry and for North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa he chose to fully express his Christmas spirit by giving people with disabilities to mark the day.

He is handing out wheelchairs as part of a Christmas project to replace all rickety and worn out wheelchairs of all disabled people in his easement area.

According to him, the gift will not only help change some lives, but reiterate the very essence of Christmas.

A tweet shared on Friday, December 25 read, “Our North Tongu Christmas plan this year is to send free wheelchairs to all physically disabled and replace all rickety wheelchairs of my dear constituents. Showing compassion to the most vulnerable is the climax of Christmas. Merry Christmas my friends.

It will not be the first time that Okudzeto Ablakwa has shown compassion and philanthropic assistance to his constituents.

The MP for North Tongu, after being declared an MP elected for the third time in the December 7 election, visited the children’s ward at Battor Catholic Hospital in his constituency to cover all medical bills for those treated .
