Okyehene calls on Ghanaians to support Akufo-Addo in his 2nd term

The Supreme Leader of the Traditional Zone of Akyem Abuakwa urged Ghanaians to support President Akufo-Addo during his second term.

Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panyin is optimistic that at the end of the President’s second term, Ghana will be prosperous.

However, he believes that much will depend on the support of each Ghanaian.

“As a nation, support the president because he is selfless and in time truth and goodness would triumph over evil,” he said.

The comment was made during a special Kyebi Thanksgiving Service held for President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo after he was sworn in.

During the ceremony, Okyehene congratulated the President on the various policies initiated during his first term.

“You’ve done well the past four years, but some people would say you haven’t done anything. We thank God for giving you to Ghana as president, ”he said.

For his part, President Akufo-Addo also called on Ghanaians to continue praying for him and his government to help the development of the country.

He further asked for the courage and wisdom of God to enable him to work effectively in his next government.
