Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reported to have decided not to make a decision to transfer Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur during the summer transfer window.
According to Standard Sport, the Red Devils initially designated Eriksen as the main target to strengthen the offensive midfield department this summer.
However, as the transfer window has progressed, it seems that United has changed position and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is more focused on keeping Paul Pogba.
The Frenchman was the club's most successful player last season with 16 goals and 11 badists, but he was nonetheless attracting fans' criticism after the poor performance of the final months of the season.
He was badociated with a move to Real Madrid this summer, but Solskjaer seems to want to convince him to stay in a private meeting during the club's pre-season tour.
In the meantime, Eriksen has 12 months left on his contract with the Spurs and has so far shown no intention of signing a new contract with the giants of North London.
Despite this, there was no offer of transfer among proposals that club president Daniel Levy could demand nearly 100 million pounds for the sale of the Danish international.
