Manchester United completed an impressive pre-season tour with a 2-1 win over the Spurs in Shanghai.
The victory marked their fourth consecutive victory, after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men defeated Perth Glory, Leeds United and Inter Milan earlier in the tour.
Anthony Martial – who, according to United fans, will make a strong impression this season – placed the Red Devils 1-0 in Shanghai before Lucas Moura's equalizer.
But ten minutes from the end of the match and before a draw, the hope of United Academy Gomes has created a spark to score his first goal for the senior team.
The 18-year-old recovered the ball inside half of the Spurs and went on to Tottenham's defense before playing a handsome double with Juan Mata and doubling Paulo Gazzaniga.
Solskjaer, clearly impressed by what he saw from Gomes, spoke of the chances of the offensive midfielder to make his debut in the first team this year.
"It was a great goal from Angel [Gomes] – an excellent answer, "he said.
"The little boy is lively and lively.
