Manchester United is about to be the subject of another major investigation after being well away from the race for the Premier League in 2018/19. Striker Romelu Lukaku, 26, is one of the group's biggest names.

Although he was reduced to the bench seat to welcome Marcus Rashford under Solskjaer last season, Lukaku still finished top Manchester United scorer in all competitions. Rashford may have a better appearance, but Lukaku is the biggest threat and he must take precedence over the 21-year-old in the next campaign.
The only current players with more Premier League goals than Lukaku are Harry Kane and Aguero. He also scored many more goals than any other United player in his two years at the club. Statistics therefore show that he is their best attacker.
He is sure to get goals for United next season and better service will allow Lukaku to focus on what he does best, attacking the goal area. What Solskjaer should aim for are appropriate wings and a new number 10.
They play too often with inner attackers in large areas that are narrow in search of goals. They need some wide options that will stretch the game and send low balls into the danger zone for Lukaku to attack.
Juan Mata does not have as much influence as he was and Paul Pogba is too hot and too cold to be a reliable attacker. It 's there that they should be looking to spend a lot of money this summer from a smart, hardworking and creative playmaker.
Slightly adapt their style to a model closer to Tottenham, which will benefit the players they already own. Re-writing the style every two seasons and producing a quick change of signature landmarks such as Lukaku or Angel Di Maria will only cause more inconsistencies.
