Romelu Lukaku looks set to leave Manchester United because Old Trafford boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to make his attack more mobile next season.
The Belgian striker has scored 42 goals in 96 appearances in United since he joined Everton in July 2017 for an initial amount of about 75 million pounds sterling.
But having been a regular at the starting lineup of former boss Jose Mourinho – the coach who signed it -, he lost his place in the team to Marcus' benefit Rashford when Solskjaer succeeded the Portuguese last December.
Although Lukaku scored a series of goals in late February and early March, scoring a series of accolades against Crystal Palace, Southampton and Paris Saint Germain at successive appearances, they were his only goals in his last 20 games of the United campaign.
He however retained his rich international form for Belgium and scored three goals in their international matches against Kazakhstan and Scotland last week.
After the match, Lukaku announced a potential transfer to Italy and congratulated the new boss of Inter Milan, Antonio Conte.
"It's good to see that Conte has joined Inter. For me, he is the best manager in the world, "he said.
"I have already made a decision about the future but I can not reveal it because I have a contract with Manchester United and respect the club.
"I am a big fan of Serie A, those who are close to me know that I've always wanted to play in the English league and in the Italian league I love Italy.
"And then Cristiano Ronaldo has arrived, Sarri will go to Juventus, Ancelotti is in Napoli, it will be an exciting Series A.
"The club and my agent will talk about it, but I've already made my decision."
Lukaku was often criticized for his first contacts at United, while he was also criticized by United legend, Gary Neville, for his fitness level.
After confirming the signing of young Welshman Daniel James of Swansea, United is now looking for another fast and mobile forward to complete his attack with Rashford and Anthony Martial.
ESPN FC says that although the club is not interested in a deal with Gareth Bale, Solskjaer plans to appeal to Nicolas Pepe from Lille, Lyon striker Moussa Dembele and the Bournemouth star. Ryan Fraser.
