Olivia Jade Giannulli returned to YouTube and posted her first video in over a year.

For those who aren’t deep into the world of YouTube vloggers, Jade’s name is still notable due to her parents’ involvement in the infamous 2019 college admissions scandal. Her parents, actress Lori Loughlin and designer Mossimo Giannulli, paid $ 50,000 in bribes to bring their two daughters to the University of Southern California and claimed they were rowing recruits.

Jade recently made headlines for her appearance on Discussion on the red table to discuss the scandal with hosts Janet Pickett Smith, Adrienne Banfield Norris and Willow Smith.

“I continued Discussion on the red table and now my name is cleared, ”Jade says in the new video download.

Jade stopped posting to YouTube in December 2019, telling fans, “I’m not legally allowed to talk about anything that’s going on right now.”

Towards the end of December 2020, Jade responded to a fan’s comment on her TikTok account, saying that she plans to return to YouTube in 2021.

“I’m really excited because obviously I haven’t filmed for a very long time,” Jade begins. “I’m just grateful to be back on YouTube and very happy that you are watching this video.”

Now the influencer is back with a daily 15 minute vlog that didn’t seem like anything out of the ordinary to the YouTuber.

“The thing I wanted to do the most was apologize for so long and I feel like I have to do it to Red table [Talk,]”She explains in a separately filmed clip that she says she added during editing. “Although I cannot change the past, I can change the way I act and what I do in the future.”

One of those changes appears to be donating some of her YouTube advertising money to a charity she “works and really admires.”

“You feel good vibes in this video!” someone commented. “Everyone deserves redemption.”

“Let the girl apologize and move on,” added another. “Everyone deserves a second chance.”

“In fact, I find you are much more understandable now than before,” said one commentator. “An apartment instead of a mansion, a Cuisinart coffee maker, you lay in your dog’s bed and pet him lol. I will like it.
