They call her a "gorgeous woman," and this is a relevant comparison of the defining factor in this comedy of complete adulthood. But beyond gags, there is something else happening here: Booksmart is for smart girls – those who have left high school and have never forgotten the only person who might still be their best friend.

It also marks the very impressive debut film by actress Olivia Wilde and features an incredibly funny screenplay by Emily Halpern, Susanna Fogel, Katie Silberman and Sarah Haskins. Many of the key production jobs were also held by women, and they were all combined to create a smart movie to bring girls out, which is not only hilarious, but also affirms her life in her own way.
The clever premise is that Amy (Dever) and Molly (Feldstein) are besties, first and foremost – really bright and studious girls who do not mingle with books during high school years. But now, graduation is upon them, with Molly, the arts champion, on her way to Yale and Amy, who is planning a humanitarian mission to Africa before college. However, all of a sudden, they realize that despite all the work they did in their studies, they failed. fun. All this is due to the wise advice of Wilde, who seems to know instinctively when to go back and then reduce it.
