"Fake news" in the Microsoft Edge viewfinder (on iOS and Android)
An option that does not come from Microsoft, but from a New York start-up, whose goal is to fight against misinformation. Thus, this small function will allow Microsoft Edge to alert the user when the latter goes to a reputable site to spread "fake newsIn the URL, we will find a small green dot meaning that everything is OK, or on the contrary a red dot to warn the user of a potential danger.
By making a "tap" on said pellet, one can benefit from more details concerning the visited site. Thus, some sites like RT, DailyKos, Sputnik or the Daily Mail, are listed in red by NewsGuard. Currently, the option is disabled, but Microsoft may enable the default in the future Edge.
