Orange is the new black creator regrets to have killed this character

We never thought to get to this point, but alas we are here – Orange is the new blackThe seventh and final season has officially arrived on Netflix.

Six years after his first creation, Orange is the new black gave the fans a black comedy success, a mine of exceptional female talent and almost too much grief to wear.

Over the years, Orange bid farewell to a number of Litchfield detainees, but Executive Producer Tara Herrmann spoke out to reveal which death had suffered the most.

(Spoiler: This is do not Poussey Washington. Somehow.)

Before OITNBlast season of Tara, spoke to HuffPost about some of the greatest moments of the Netflix series, admitting that the most unfortunate death is that of the season, Tricia Miller.

Tricia, played by Madeleine Brewer, appeared in the first 10 episodes of the drama until her tragic death by a drug overdose, an ending that Tara described as "inevitable."

"I mean of course we were sad in season 1, with the character of Tricia, we wrote that character, we knew what his end was going to be, and then when we had [Madeleine Brewer] and we worked with her and the developed character, we struggled to move forward with what was her inevitable end, "explained Herrmann.

"But it's the stories that resonate, because you love them, and you encourage them, they're all very difficult, but I do not regret them, because of the stories we've been able to tell through them."

Despite some controversial moments (we are talking to you, season five), Orange is the new black was recently crowned the greatest Netflix's biggest show in the official figures.

According to the figures, 105 million users watched at least one episode of the show, accounting for about two-thirds of the streaming platform's subscribers. Phew.
