Orca Deco supports the village of Echoing Hills orphanage
Orca Deco, Ghana's leading furniture and interior design company, has presented bedroom furniture worth 125,570.00 GH ¢, as well as latex foam mattresses to five (5) orphanages located in the metropolis of Accra and its surroundings.
This gesture is part of the activities marking the 15th anniversary of Orca Deco and the commitment of the company to consolidate its social investments in orphanages in Ghana.
The furniture and decoration giant explains that, in addition to helping more people to live better at home and in the office, their brand symbolizes the protection of those they consider as family, hence the decision to support some Accra-based orphanages with warmer, safer and more comfortable children's bedroom furniture.
The company adds that whenever customers visit their showrooms and make purchases, they [the customers] to contribute to the development and growth of Orca Deco, which is why it was morally right for her to give back to society and, in this case, to orphans.
This was particularly important because the selection of beneficiary orphanages was done by clients and the general public through votes on selected digital platforms. Of the seven (7) shortlisted orphanages, five (5) nominees (insert names) were selected by electors to benefit from this intervention.
At a ceremony of handing these items to the beneficiary orphanages, Orca Deco Ghana's general manager, Walid Didi, expressed the joy of his holding to contribute to the well-being of the children. He added that Orca represented the family. It was therefore normal for clients and the company to commit to those who have lost their families or who have been abandoned.
"At Orca, we are proud to be badociated with orphans, and we will continue to support them to ensure they are safe and loved as we have done in the past," he said.
