The second-team go-getter encourages Porcupine Warriors to reach the quarter-finals of the competition
Star Madrid coach Michael Osei believes that Asante Kotoko can qualify for the Caf Confederation Cup group stage.
The Porcupine Warriors begin their campaign against Al Hilal Omdurman in Group C on February 3 in Sudan and host Nkana FC ten days later.
"I watched them throughout the qualifying rounds and they were very successful. I was personally impressed by the type of football they played, "said Osei NL Radio.

"They should follow this kind of performance and I believe that they will pbad the group stage. Nobody expected that they enter the group stage and that is a benefit to them. I will encourage them to work harder and qualify for the quarterfinals because they have the potential to reach this level in the competition.
"This step is more difficult because you have the best teams and the best players who want to prove a point, but I believe that Kotoko can succeed," he added.
Osei was David Duncan's badistant coach in the 2014-15 season in Kotoko before being named head coach after the departure of his former boss.
