Otumfuo Osei Tutu II
Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, will mark his 69th birthday at the St. Cyprians Anglican Church in Kumasi on May 6, 2019.
"Otumfuo will celebrate its 69th birthday, in the approach of St. Cyprians Anglican Church of Kumasi," said Nana Nsuase Poku Agyeman III, Otumfuo's Akyeamehene at Manhyia's Kumasi Palace .
Akyeamehene made this revelation while informing the Asanteman Traditional Council of activities to mark the 20th anniversary of Otumfuo.
Nana Nsuase Poku Agyeman III urged traditional leaders of Asanteman and the public to sincerely support Otumfuo that day.
According to Akyeamehene, Asantehene believes that God has been his protector and his provider over the years.
"The king therefore wants to take advantage of his special day to thank God in the church for his many blessings," he said.
Asantehene recently launched the 20th anniversary of her ascent to the golden stool of Manhyia Palace.
