According to the group, the DCE takes their tolerance for weakness, thus insulting their intelligence.
In the five-page statement, the group highlighted some 19 alleged wrongdoings perpetrated by Mr. Ayamga since taking office.
The faithful of the nuclear plant concerned believe that because of the allegations, their old DCE is not qualified for renewal.
Among the accusations, the group complained that the former DCE denied party agents the payment they were owed after the 2020 election.
They also accused him of embezzling funds intended for the party for his own parochial interest.
“Our DCE continues to undermine the intelligence, tolerance and leniency of party members in the constituency to a level that members can no longer tolerate, resist and accommodate,” the statement read.
However, in an interview with JoyNews, Mr. Ayamga called the allegations “unfounded” and “false”.
According to him, he wrote to the Regional Party Secretariat in response to the accusations.

He said in all things that the best interests of the party prevail so that it waits for the party leaders to speak out on the matter.

“Ultimately, the appointing authority will make the decision to keep me or appoint someone else. My work is available to everyone, ”he said.
