Since yesterday, the GTX 1660 Ti is commercially available. We have created an overview of all custom models available from all manufacturers.
GTX 1660 Ti: Turing without Turing features
Yesterday, Nvidia has revived a brand already considered dead. With the new generation GeForce, codenamed Turing, the company has completely replaced the GTX logo with RTX. This should highlight the capabilities of Raytracing which, together with DLSS, is the main new feature of the Turing generation. Unfortunately, the performance has not really increased.
But with the GTX 1660 Ti, it still changes. The GTX lettering is back and indicates the lack of ray casting capabilities. This is the biggest non-feature of the new graphics card. Despite the Turing architecture and a 12-nm structure width, the GTX 1660 Ti does not have Raytracing hardware. Tensor and RT cores are completely missing so it is possible to get lower prices. A leak, that the GTX 1660 Ti with 192 tensor cores to equip DLSS is equipped, is not true.
The only thing left is the GDDR6 memory, identical to the GTX 1060 or the RTX 2060 at 6 GB. The memory clock is at 6,000 MHz to shift the graphics card slightly compared to the RTX 2060, which also has 6 GB of GDDR6 memory. but clocked at 7,000 MHz. The heart of the GTX 1660 Ti consists of 1,536 CUDA cores, clocked at 1,500 MHz in the base and at 1,770 MHz in the boost clock. In this constellation, the graphics card easily reaches the level of the GTX 1070, but rarely reaches the RX Vega 56. For a price of 279 to 349 euros, the GTX 1660 Ti is still unattractive at the moment. As soon as prices fall below 250 euros, the card is unmatched. We have summarized all custom templates available now.
All GTX 1660 Ti Custom models in the overview
Asus
Asus sends three models of the GTX 1660 Ti in the race. The company also offers the most expensive model of the series. The Asus ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1660 Ti OC comes in the usual Strix design with three fans and a large 2.5-slot cooler. Among them is the smaller double version with two fans and a short circuit board, but a long cooler. Asus also offers a model for the Phoenix mini-ITX range. This is with 289 euros currently the bestselling custom design of the company.
Also with the technical data, Asus has not been left stripping. All models are overclocked. While the small Phoenix design instead of the 1770 MHz reference amplification on the amplified clock sets at 1,815 MHz, the dual variant reaches 1,830 MHz. Of course, the larger design also works better and comes with a full boost clock of 1 890 MHz. On the connection side, the Strix version has two HDMI 2.0 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports. The Phoenix and dual graphics card has two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 port and a DVI port.
At a later date, even more models will be marketed. Other versions of the ROG Strix are provided in the non-OC and Advanced Edition versions, an OC version of Dual and Phoenix as well as two TUF variants with two small fans and 1,800 clock frequencies and 1830 MHz (OC variant).

EVGA
As with the RTX 2060, the EVGA manufacturer is also using the well-known design of the Tripple slot for the GTX 1660 Ti. The two models available in Europe also carry the XC Gaming and XC Black Gaming games and come in the form of short single fan graphics cards. The cooler has up to three height locations and is actively cooled by a single 100mm axial fan. On a raised EVGA backplate, the clock can be proud of it. The XC variant accelerates on 1,845 MHz. Only the XC Black clock uses the standard clock at 1770 MHz, but should provide enough space for overclocking with the same cooler. On the other hand, EVGA is stingy with regard to connections. Here is a single HDMI 2.0, a DisplayPort 1.4 and a DVI port. The EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 XC Ultra Gaming Ti is not currently available. It comes with two dual-slot fans and switches to 1860 MHz.

Gainward
Gainward offers two of the cheapest GTX 1660 Ti. The Pegasus and Pegasus OC models are two-slot graphics cards with a single fan and are therefore short. This saves the manufacturer costs, which is why graphics cards are currently available for 279 or 289 euros. The non-OC variant also remains at the standard 1770 MHz clock, while the Pegasus OC card reaches 1,815 MHz. With the connections, Gainward has unfortunately also upset this series. Thus, only one HDMI 2.0 connection, Displayport 1.4 and DVI is available. Later, a variant with the name Ghost must arrive on the market. This one has two fans and the two-fan design of the Phoenix series looks like.

Gigabyte
Gigabyte is currently represented on the market with most model variants. The company offers five variants of GTX 1660 Ti-Ring chillers. The top-of-the-range model is the AORUS GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, supplied with a two-slot chiller with three 100mm axial fans. It also has the best clock chip, which comes on a boosted clock at 1 890 MHz and therefore corresponds to the Asus ROG Strix variant. The Gaming OC variant comes with a slightly smaller cooler and three 90mm axial fans. It accelerates up to 1860 MHz. There are also two models with two fans. The Windforce OC version comes with 100mm fans, while the OC version is only equipped with 90mm fans. The maximum boost clock is 1,844 or 1,800 MHz. There is also a card called Mini ITX OC for the mini-ITX market. This clock clock at 1 785 MHz clock boost is slightly overclocked, but it is only provided with a 90 mm axial fan. For connections, Gigabyte is generous. For example, each graphics card has three DisplayPort 1.4 ports and one HDMI 2.0 port.

Inno3D
Inno3D only starts with a model of the GTX 1660 Ti. This is called Twin X2 and comes with two fans. These have a diameter of 90 mm, which makes the card relatively short. Unlike RTX models, the cooler is black and there are few surprises elsewhere. The model therefore uses a reference clock of 1770 MHz. At the back, a back plate is mounted. Example, the company does not save connections. Thus, three DisplayPort 1.4 ports and one HDMI 2.0 port are installed. With a price of more than 290 euros, the Inno3D GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Twin X2 is one of the cheapest cards.
KFA2
In addition, KFA2 starts with a single graphics card from the GTX 1660 Ti series. The company, which operates outside Europe under the name GALAX, is based on the well-known design of fans with two 90mm transparent fans and 1-Click OC, but without RGB lighting as on the other models. The clock boost is 1800 MHz, which is slightly above the reference clock. However, this can only be enabled via the OC 1-Click function. KFA2 gives up a back plate. The company also saved on connections and uses only a DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0 and DVI port. With currently 339 euros, the KFA2 graphics card is also very expensive, but it could also be a price error among retailers Mindfactory Group. Later, an EX version is planned, which comes with RGB lighting, a backplate and an amplified clock of 1815 MHz.

MSI
With currently three models, the manufacturer MSI is represented in the GTX 1660 Ti series. The company relies on the Armor OC, Ventus XS and Gaming X chiller versions. All models come with two 90mm axial fans and differ mainly in chiller and clock design. Thus, the high-end model Gaming X with RGB lighting and visible radiator cover is also the fastest. The chip has an increase rate of 1.875 MHz. But even the smallest models are impressive. The Armor OC variant achieves an acceleration of 1,860 MHz, while the Ventus XS OC reaches an acceleration of 1,830 MHz. On the connection side, MSI is not stingy and equips all three graphics cards with three DisplayPort 1.4 ports and one HDMI 2.0 port. A back plate is also installed on each graphics card.
Over time, other models have appeared on the market, already listed by the MSI. So, there will be non-OC models of the OC Armor and the Ventus XS OC. A smaller model of the X game variant is also provided. There are also two Aero ITX models with a single fan for the Mini-ITX range.

Palit
Like the Gainward brand partner, Palit launches two small, affordable models with a 100mm fan. These bear the name StormX and are virtually identical to Gainward cards. The non-OC variant comes with a 1770 MHz reference clock, while the StormX OC has a clock clock of 1,815 MHz. The prices of 279 and 289 € are identical. Unfortunately, therefore, the connections are identical and, with Palit graphics cards, only one DisplayPort 1.4, an HDMI 2.0 connection and a DVI connection are used. In the near future, a version with two fans and a larger cooler will follow.

PNY
In addition, PNY only starts on a fan model. The PNY GeForce GTX 1660 Ti XLR8 Gaming OC graphics card is based on a dark design with a very short circuit board and a 100mm axial fan. The reminder clock is at 1,815 MHz. The graphics card currently shares with some other models the cheapest price of 279 euros. The ports only have a DisplayPort 1.4 port, an HDMI 2.0 port, and a DVI port. Other models are not currently in view.

ZOTAC
For Zotac, go to the beginning of two models of the GTX 1660 Ti at the beginning. The smaller model does not have a particular name, the larger one bears the well-known name AMP. Both models come with a short cooler with two fans. At first glance, the coolers are the same, but at second glance, there is a small but subtle difference. What initially looked like a crease in the optics is actually a smaller fan. For the non-AMP version, Zotac does not use two 100mm fans, but a 100mm fan and a 90mm fan. The AMP version receives two fans of 100 mm and is therefore much longer. Although the AMP version is also equipped with a back plate, this one is missing in the non-AMP version.
The biggest difference, of course, is the pace. Thus, the Zotac Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is only synchronized to the 1770 MHz reference clock of the Boost. The clock frequency of the AMP Zotac version has not yet announced, the graphics card is also nowhere available. With a higher TDP of 130 watts, the graphics card could easily clock beyond 1850 MHz. Fortunately, Zotac is not stingy with display connectors on both GTX 1660 Ti models. So there are three DisplayPort 1.4 ports and one HDMI 2.0 port each.
