Reverend Owusu Bempah is the founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry
Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, founder and leader of Glorious Word Ministry International, honored an invitation from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service regarding an audio recording that allegedly captured the fiery preacher saying that the ex – President John Mahama is preparing to eliminate him, President Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr. Bawumia and Assin's Central MP, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.
He arrived at the premises of the CID Wednesday around 15 hours in the company of some of his subordinate pastors.
Reverend Owusu Bempah was scheduled to report on Monday, March 20, 2019, but according to his badistant, Reverend Nana Kwesi, the man of God exercised pastoral duties outside Accra and therefore could not not honor the invitation of this day.
According to a police source, DAILY GUIDE, the preacher, invited "verbally" by the Director General of the CID, met the team of investigators.
After asking a number of questions, he was dismissed without any written statement, the source said.
According to the source, the investigators told the Reverend that they would contact him in due course.
Reverend Owusu Bempah, said the source, promised to cooperate fully with the police in this case.
The CID stated that he had said audio recording in his possession.
It is unclear who has lodged a complaint, but sources said that Kofi Adams, a former national organizer of the opposition NDC, did the reporting.
