As has become common in Ghana during Watchnight services, the prophets predict that the events of the New Year will serve as warnings and call for prayers of intercession on behalf of those involved.
These prophecies over the years have been characterized by predictions of death and disaster but also of political victories.
This year, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, self-proclaimed “Prophet of the Nation,” who is also the founder and head of the glorious ministry of speech and power, listed some prophecies for the New Year.
However, unlike in previous years, he failed to mention the names of those who will be directly affected by these prophecies.
He explained that the recent hostilities and acts of mockery against the prophets forced him to avoid mentioning names.
“Now in 2021 a great king will die, but because of the insults people will throw at me, I will not mention his name. But if God tells me to go talk to him, I’ll go.
Here is a list of his prophecies for the New Year:
- Democratic National Congress flag bearer John Dramani Mahama will lose his 2020 Supreme Court election petition.
- A great king will die.
3. The death of a person who ruled Ghana before.
4. A great political party will be in mourning because it would lose one of its leaders.
5. The death of a person likely to be President of Ghana.
6. The death of a person who previously controlled and managed the finances of the country.
7. Fires can be widespread.
8. There may be an earthquake. A certain country will experience the greatest extent, Ghana will experience a lesser extent.
9. Two musicians can die. An old man, a young man.
10. There will be a plane crash with a prominent person on board. (This prophecy is not exclusive to Ghana)
11. We must pray for the NPP and the NDC, otherwise they will lose great leaders.
12. Drivers must be very careful in 2021, there will be a lot of raod carnage.
13. A great leader in Nigeria will die.
14. I saw France covered in dark clouds.
15. I saw the flag of Great Britain turn black, which signified the death of an eminent person.
16. Death of a former President of the United States of America.
17. There will be floods and fires in America.
18. There will also be flooding in Ghana.
19. Finally, there could be an attempted coup in Ghana, which will destabilize the country.
The Prophet after the prophecies called for intercessory prayers on behalf of those involved and the country as a whole to avoid death and disaster.
