The governing body of Ugandan football has terminated its contract with national under-17 coach Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin of Ghana.
The Federation of Ugandan Football Associations (FUFA) said in a statement on Wednesday that the termination followed a request from the coach to return home and deal with family problems that would not allow him to return home. to continue to hold this position.
"FUFA and Kwesi agreed to terminate the contract between the two parties by mutual consent," the organization's statement said.
The Federation said it was satisfied with Kwesi's work in Uganda.
The termination comes after Kwesi's under-17 national team failed to qualify for the 2019 Under-17 World Cup in Brazil.
Kwesi was appointed in March of this year.
