The midfielder had a day to forget when the rivals of the city clashed in Liga Saturday.

The ace of Madrid, Thomas Teye Partey, was forced to take an early shower when his team hosted Real Madrid in a derby on Saturday.

A double booking sent the Ghanaian La Liga out while Los Rojiblancos succumbed to a 3-1 home defeat at Wanda Metropolitano.

At his 13th start of the Liga season, Partey received a first yellow card in the 62nd minute for a clumsy tackle on Reguilon.

His day went awry in the 80th minute when he was sent off for a second foul, after defeating Toni Kroos.
